Gina Dore is from Ginoogaming First Nation, one of the 9 communities that Matawa First Nation’s Management represents. Throughout Gina’s life she has faced many obstacles. In the last few years Gina has prioritized her health, and this has helped her gain more insight about herself and the direction of her life. Gina has worked in the early years sector as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in her home community at our Aboriginal HeadStart Program and now in a career transition to the law enforcement sector, as a Police Constable. Gina also work with the 3rd Canadian Ranger Group as a Master Corporal with the Junior Canadian Rangers. She enjoys learning new skills and always willing to help when and where she can. Some of Gina’s favorite pass time activities include being out on the land, baking, beading, and spending time with her loved ones.
